Originally from Siberia, this plant is hardy in zone 3 and can withstand temperatures around – 42 degrees. It is our hardiest cultivar.
Fruit production between 2nd et 3rd year. Harvest from August to October.
Our star cultivar from a Siberian seedling established in Quebec for thirty years. Affectionally called ‘‘the big fruit’’, it is the biggest and the sweetest of kolomikta collection.
Needs a kolomikta Artic Beauty male for pollination.
Ratio : 1 male for 1 to 8 females.
Sun / Shade : Partial shade, tolerates full sun.
